BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- China Southern Airlines has launched a new air route linking Shenyang, capital of northeast China’s Liaoning province and Irkutsk in Russia.
The flight operates every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. It departs from Shenyang at 4:25 p.m. (Beijing Time) and lands in Irkutsk at 9:30 p.m. local time.
The 2018 World Cup led to a tourist boom in Russia, staff from the airline said, adding that as the summer holiday is approaching, the company will increase the frequency of flights between China and Russia.
