BEIJING, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Construction on the Konza substation in Kenya undertaken by China Aerospace Construction Group Co., Ltd. has entered the preparation stage.
The substation is designed to have the highest voltage grade and the largest single transformer capacity in Kenya.
Located in Kenya's largest science and technology park Konza, the project is important facility for power supply to the Konza park. The 400KV substation project will be financed by commercial loans provided by the Export-Import Bank of China.
