BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- A new freight train service connecting a port in northeast China’s Heilongjiang province with Russia has been launched, according to the report of Economic Daily.
Departing from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, the train loaded with timber, board and wood furniture products, has arrived in the Muling inland port run by the Dalian Port after a 10,000-kilometer journey in 19 days.
The freight train is in the trial operation and runs twice a month at present. After realizing a normal operation, it will operate twice a week in the future.
