FUZHOU, June 22 (Xinhua) -- East China’s Fujian Province plans to cultivate over 300 leading enterprises in the industry and information technology, according to an action plan issued by the Fujian government.
Fujian Province is aimed at fostering over 12 industry clusters with operating revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan, over 100 service-type manufacturing demonstration enterprises, more than 500 giant enterprises in science and technology, etc.
According to the action plan, Fujian Province will support leading enterprises to conduct merger and acquisition (M&A) and grant subsidies to qualified projects.
In the meantime, for the new qualified state-level key laboratories, engineering laboratories, engineering research centers, the provincial government will give 8 million awards.
In addition, Fujian Province encourages leading enterprises to expand clean production technology and conduct green manufacturing. (Edited by Zhang Yuan, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
