BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- The Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Lao Securities Exchange co-hosted a conference on promoting cooperation in capital market on June 19 in Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong province.

Undertaken by Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd.'s cross-border project information services platform V-Next, the conference aimed to further deepen Chinese investors and enterprises’ understanding of the economic development and social environment in Laos, promote high-quality Lao enterprises through the road show, and promote deep integration of industries and capital between the two countries under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The road show focused on local investment environment in Laos and brought together seven companies listed or to-be-listed on the Lao Securities Exchange, covering foreign trade, electricity, petroleum, telecommunications, furniture, cement, and leasing industries. These Lao companies were presented to nearly 60 Chinese companies and professional investment institutions at the conference and also to more than 4,000 investment institutions on the Internet.

In the future, the V-Next platform will cooperate with financial institutions at home and abroad, share resources and channels and build cooperative networks to serve the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative from deeper levels and beyond.
