BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- South China's Hainan Province is expected to release a plan for the development of the horse racing soon, the Xinhua-run cnstock.com reported on Tuesday.
The Department of Culture, Radio, Television, Publication and Sports of Hainan Province is currently in discussions with relevant academic research institutions and professional organizations to study and formulate the plan as soon as possible, which will provide scientific guidance for development of the horse racing in the Province, according to the report.
After the plan is finalized, the Department will, according to the plan, build racecourses and training grounds, establish horse-ridings clubs, and organize various kinds of sports horse races in an orderly manner. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
