China Mobile Payment Development Index

China Mobile Payment Development Report(2019), jointly compiled by the State Information Center, CEIS and Ant Financial, was released at the 2nd Digital China Summit in Fuzhou on May 6, 2019. The concept of "Mobile Payment Development" was put forward by the index for the first time. According to the three dimensions of information-based, business consumption and government and people's livelihood payment, the mutual promotion relationship between mobile payment and urban competitiveness is analyzed, and the total ranking and three sub ranking of China's top 55 cities in Mobile Payment Development Index are displayed. In addition to the influence of economic, technological and locational factors, the creative role and great potential of local governments in making good use of mobile payment and promoting digital governance are manifested. As soon as the report is released, it has attracted the general attention of and been wide spread by the media and the public, resulting in wonderful communication effect and great information dissemination influence.
