China Meteorological Development Index
First released in September 2017, China Meteorological Development Index (MDI) is co-compiled by China Economic Information Service (CEIS) and the Development Research Center of China Meteorological Administration. Involving dimensions like governance guarantee, economic impacts, livelihood service, ecological service, monitoring and prediction, driving force of innovation, and environmental support, the index assesses the overall performance of China's meteorological development, and shows how meteorological services can contribute to economic and social development, and people's security and livelihood.
