Major agriculture crops include Qingke (a highland barley), wheat, pea, colza, etc. The local economy of Tibet has been witnessing constant improvements. The gross regional product of Tibet totalled 92.08 billion yuan in 2014, a rise of 10.8 percent from 2013 based on comparable prices.
