BEIJING, June 15 (Xinhua) -- China Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEC) announced that the company recently hosted the Central and Eastern European Power Market Seminar in Vilnius, Lithuania and subsidiaries of the company have entered into several memorandums of understanding (MOUs) or project contracts with energy companies in Lithuania and Ukraine.
North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group (NCPE), a subsidiary of the company, has entered into a MOU with ACHEMOS GRUPE in Lithuania. The two parties will cooperate to jointly develop wind power, photovoltaic power, biomass power and other new energy projects in the Central and Eastern Europe regions.
China Energy Engineering Group Investment Co., Ltd., another subsidiary of the company, has entered into the MOU with Orion Securities in Lithuania. Both parties agreed to jointly make investments in conventional power plants projects, renewable energy projects and power transmission infrastructures projects in the Central and Eastern Europe regions.
NCPE has entered into an agreement for the 200MW photovoltaic power project in Ukraine with METROPOLIYA MC LTD, with total project investment of 253 million U.S. dollars.
