There are growing doubts among foreign investors about Germany as a digital location, a new study has found.
While it is still true that no other European country has a better image overall, when it comes to criteria like broadband coverage, Germany is regarded as lagging behind. That’s according to the latest European Attractiveness Survey by consulting firm EY, which was published on Monday.
Of the global decision-makers from various industries surveyed for the study, only 15 percent are convinced that new digital business models can be easily promoted in Germany.
A year earlier, the proportion was almost twice as high. Just over half of those surveyed still consider it probable, while one third think it unlikely or impossible.
