BEIJING, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd.announced to invest 680 million yuan to build a 4.5 km built-in medium- and low-speed maglev rail test line and related facilities.
With a maximum design speed of 200km/h, the project is located in an industrial park of Tianfu New District in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
The test line is scheduled to start construction preparations in June 2018 and will be completed in August 2020, according to the company announcement. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
