BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Tongwei Co., Ltd. announced that it planned to reach a framework agreement with Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor Co., Ltd. on Monday, under which the company will sell 70,000 tonnes of polysilicon, 1,800 MW of solar cells to Tianjin Zhonghuan, and buy 2.41 billion pieces of wafers from Tianjin Zhonghuan during 2018-2021.
Tongwei expects the contracted polysilicon sales will generate net profits of 46 million yuan in 2018, 675 million yuan in 2019, 754 million yuan in 2020, and 833 million yuan in 2021. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
