BEIJING, May 25 (Xinhua) -- China High Speed Railway Technology Co.,ltd. (CHSR) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary CHSR (U.S.A.) LLC had inked a deal with U.S. Transportation Technology Center, Inc. on the purchase of the latter’s vehicle axle bearing defect detection system (TADS) as well as related technology and intellectual property (IP).
The transaction price is 4 million U.S. dollars.
CHSR would have complete acoustic testing bearing IP upon the deal completion to better serve China railways, it said.
The technology and IP have been applied in bearing testing for North American railways, European railways and Chinese high speed vehicles and trucks. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
