BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd, China's signature high-end spirit maker, targets some 15 percent year-on-year growth in operating revenue for the year of 2018, according to group chairman Li Baofang.
Speaking at the 2017 annual general meeting of shareholders on May 23, Li said that Moutai aims to complete capital construction investment of 2.572 billion yuan this year, according to a report by cnstock.com.
The company realized 58.218 billion yuan of revenue in 2017, up 49.81 percent on year thus a 15 percent growth means some 66.95 billion yuan of revenue target for 2018.
The liquor industry is entering a new round of rising period with clearer recovery, improved concentration and rising prices, according to Li, noting that currently brand marketing became more popular, and wine companies explored new retail modes more quickly.
