BEIJING, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) - Xinhua Silk Road Database made its debut at the Consumer Electronic Show of 2017, an annual bazaar of the latest electronic gadgets and technology hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) held on January 5 in Las Vegas.
Xinhua Silk Road Database, developed by China Economic Information Service (CEIS), a wholly-owned company of Xinhua News Agency and a leading economic information service provider in China, was introduced to the market in mid-2015 to serve and facilitate the business information flow between China and its Belt and Road partners.
It provides clients with Belt and Road-related news and publications such as the "Belt and Road Weekly", law and regulation database, China's major economic and development data, business environment assessments by country and by Chinese province, Chinese company database, as well as project database which not only tracks the progress of Belt and Road-related projects, but also offer project release and project matching services.
Some Chinese tech giants, such as TCL, Hisense, and ZTE, have also unveiled their innovated products at the show.
At this year's CES, being unfolded in Las Vegas, Nevada from Jan. 5-8, more than 3,800 companies across the world will showcase their state-of-the-art consumer novelties, and over one third of them were Chinese companies. Enditem (Edited by Li Xiaohui, lixh@xinhua.org)
