BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba announced on May 14 that it had reached strategic agreement with Sichuan Airlines to jointly set up marketing center, with Sichuan Airlines sending a team to settle in the center located in east China’s Hangzhou, according to the report by Yicai.com.
According to the agreement, the two sides will conduct deep cooperation on cloud computing, member services, e-commerce training, business travel, financial payment and air media.
Alibaba boasts over 500 million active mobile users, strong data analysis capacity and advanced technology, which can help Sichuan Airlines better serve customers, said Alibaba Group’s vice president Zhao Ying. (Edited by Zhang Yuan, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
