BANGKOK, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua Silk Road of China Economic Information Service (CEIS) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone on Friday.
Under the agreement, Xinhua Silk Road will carry out in-depth cooperation with the Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone in fields including information release, personalized economic and trade business support, and project matching, and provide one-stop services for the Chinese enterprises to enter Thailand.
Liu Mingxia, vice president of CEIS, said that services provided by the Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone for the Chinese enterprises investing in Thailand are highly compatible with Xinhua Silk Road’s service of helping the Chinese enterprises “go global”. The two sides’ cooperation will help more Chinese enterprises’ projects land in Thailand.
At present, 103 manufacturing enterprises have settled in the industrial zone. However, half of the area is still under development. There is ample room for the two sides’ cooperation in promoting the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand, said Xu Genluo, president of the Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone.
The Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone is a modern industrial zone developed by Holley Group (China) and Amata Group (Thailand) for Chinese investors, which is located at the flourishing east coast of Thailand, close to capital city Bangkok and Laem Chabang deep seaport. The total programming area is 12 square kilometers.
Xinhua Silk Road, a national information service platform focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative under Xinhua News Agency, has built four service systems, including databases in Chinese and English, credit investigation, counseling and think tank, and transaction matchmaking.
