SHANGHAI, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The event of 2018 National Brand Day opened in Shanghai on Thursday.
The event focused on the first Exposition on Indigenous Brand and the China Brand Development International Forum to showcase the achievements of Chinese brands and discuss the ways to building Chinese brands.
The area of Exposition on Indigenous Brand is approximately 25,000 square meters. 68 exhibitors from local governments, central enterprises, and intermediary organizations participated in the exhibition and more than 600 famous brand enterprises were selected to join in the exhibition.
Meanwhile, the China Brand Development International Forum was also held on Thursday. Nearly 1,000 Chinese and foreign guests were invited to conduct dialogues and exchange views on issues such as accelerating the development of China's brands in the new era. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
