SEOUL, May 11 (Xinhua) -- CJ Logistics announced that it has provided railway freight services connecting Asia and Europe via China's railways.
The logistics company said that the new line will pass through major cities such as Chengdu of China, Lodz of Poland, Nuremberg of Germany, and Tilburg of the Netherlands, etc. Due to its low cost and high flexibility, the demand for rail freight is increasing. The company plans to continue to expand rail freight transportation in the future.
Industrial insiders with CJ Logistics said that China has actively promoted the construction of the Belt and Road to bring more business opportunities. The company will continue to expand rail freight services and will cover more Asian and European countries and cities in the future.
In March, CJ Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Russian Far Eastern Shipping Company to expand its logistics network in Russia and develop trade routes along the Siberian railway. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
