BEIJING, May 10 (Xinhua) – A new transportation port, located in Fuyuan in north China's Heilongjiang Province, was opened on May 4, which also marks the launch of a new shipping route between China and Russia.
The high-speed shipping route was expected to operate for 180 days this year and transport about one thousand people per day.
The new route is the vital link between Fuyuan and Khabarovsk in Russia and at the same time it was seen as the golden channel for tourism, cultural communications as well as economic and trade exchanges.
