BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Built by China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd, a large high-end underground engineering equipment manufacturing base has been completed and put into production in Changsha, capital city of China's Hunan province.
With a total investment of 5 billion yuan, the base is expected to create 3,000 new jobs, and its annual production added-value will reach more than 5 billion yuan.
Started construction in July, 2017, the 1,000-mu base has built high-end modern workshops, elevated stereo warehouse, R&D and design buildings, and supporting large-scale numerical control equipment, intelligent inspection equipment, key core parts processing equipment, and advanced high-efficiency automated production lines, robotic workstations and smart logistics systems and other production facilities.(Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
