BEIJING, May 4 (Xinhua) – East China's Zhejiang Province invested 19.19 billion U.S. dollars in the countries along the Belt and Road routes in 2017, according to the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province.
As of 2017, there were a total of 9,188 foreign companies and institutions approved or filed by Zhejiang Province.
At present, Zhejiang has set up six overseas economic and trade cooperation zones. The province's foreign economic cooperation turnover in 2017 reached 7.28 billion U.S. dollars, according to the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
