BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 3,677.7 metric tons (tonnes) of yellow rice wine in the first three months of 2018, a decrease of 6 percent year on year, according to a month report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's yellow rice wine exports amounted to 5.982 million U.S. dollars in January to March, a decrease of 6.7 percent year on year. The average price was 1,626.5 U.S. dollars per ton, down 0.8 percent year on year.
China exported 1,378.9 tonnes of yellow rice wine in March, 2018, a increase of 22.8 percent month on month. The value of China's yellow rice wine exports amounted to 2.154 million U.S. dollars during the period, an increase of 24.5 percent month on month. The average price is 1,562.1 U.S. dollars per ton, up 1.4 percent month on month.
Compared with March 2017, there was a decrease of 12.3 percent in quantity, a decrease of 25.8 percent in value, and a decrease of 15.3 percent in average price. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
