BEIJING, Apr. 13 (Xinhua) -- CPP starts welding on the Flow Lines of Harald Gas Pipeline Project on March 26.
The project is a key project of Saudi Aramco newly planned in Harald Oilfield. The flow lines being constructed by CPP4 include 11 oilfield gathering and transmission pipelines from 8 to 30 inches in diameter with a total length of 89 kilometers.
Facing the unfavorable factors such as wide coverage, complicated process flow and cumbersome interfaces, CPP has fully promoted all preparatory work to create conditions for the smooth start of the project. CPP has organized the employees to study the rules and regulations, to familiarize with the Aramco standards and to understand Saudi culture. Furthermore, CPP has developed it execution plan, safety and quality management plan, actively carried out site visit and survey, and regularly completed third-party inspection of the equipment.
