BEIJING, Apr. 4 (Xinhua) -- China imported 1,066.4 tonnes of liqueurs and cordials from January to February, 2018, up 40.6 percent year on year, according to a monthly report jointly released by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's liqueurs and cordials imports amounted to 3.606 million U.S. dollars during the period, up 15.8 percent on year.
In February alone, China imported 316.3 tonnes of liqueurs and cordials, down 35.7 percent on year, with value standing at 1.254 million U.S. dollars, down 28.1 percent year on year.
From January to February, 2018, among all the countries and regions that export liqueurs and cordials to China, Germany ranked the first by 913,000 U.S. dollars in value of liqueurs and cordial followed by France and the Republic of Korea.
In February, 2018, France ranked first with a value of 427,000 U.S. dollars followed by Germany. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
