BEIJING, Apr. 3 (Xinhua) -- China exported 69,235.2 tonnes of alcoholic drinks from January to February, 2018, an decrease of 12.9 percent year on year, according to a monthly report jointly released by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's alcoholic drink exports amounted to 187.873 million U.S. dollars during the period, an increase of 0.4 percent on year, at an average price of 2,713.5 U.S. dollars per tonne, up 15.4 percent year on year.
In February alone, China exported 31,478.1 tonnes of alcoholic drinks with a value of 77.846 million U.S. dollars, up 10 percent and 26.8 percent year on year, respectively.
From January to February, 2018, among all the countries and regions that import alcoholic drinks from China, Hong Kong ranked the first by 110.079 million U.S. dollars in value of alcoholic drinks, up 9 percent year on year followed by the Republic of Korea and Singapore, with value of 9.139 million U.S. dollars and 7.667 million U.S. dollars, down 23.2 percent and 27.4 percent year on year, respectively.
In February, 2018, Hong Kong ranked first with a value of 38.173 million U.S. dollars, followed by Singapore and the Republic of Korea, with value of 6.617 million U.S. dollars and 4.813 million U.S. dollars, respectively. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
