BEIJING, Apr. 2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 7,746.7 metric tons (tonnes) of duck and its products, an increase of 9.5 percent year on year from January to February this year, according to a monthly report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's duck and its products exports during the period amounted to about 23. 72 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 4.2 percent year on year.
In February, China exported 3,713.9 tonnes of duck and its products, a decrease of 7.9 percent month on month and the value of China's duck and its products exports amounted to about 10.99 million U.S. dollars, down 13.6 percent month on month.
According to the report, Hong Kong ranked first by value in February, among all the countries and regions that import duck and its products from China,with the duck and its products import worth 4.35 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 4.6 percent year on year.
