Both sides hailed the strong UAE-U.S. relations and reviewed an array of issues of mutual concern, the state news agency WAM reported.

The meeting was also attended by Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to the U.S., and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.

Clinton, who headed the White House from 1993 to 2001 as the 42nd U.S. president, has been a regular speaker at business and educational conferences in the UAE for many years.
