BEIJING, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- China Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd. (CMEC) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with British company NPL Group on developing refuse power stations Avondale and Hillhouse.
Headquartered in Scotland, UK, NPL Group’s core businesses include real estate, property management, land reclamation, energy and waste disposal etc.
Avondale and Hillhouse refuse power stations are designed to dispose 400,000 tonnes of waste per year each with an installed electricity generation capacity of 38 MW.
CMEC plans to develop the two projects through the mode of EPC+investment as both stakeholder and EPC contractor.
