BEIJING, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua Silk Road, China’s state information service platform focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative under Xinhua News Agency, launched a flagship publication Report of Foreign Direct Investment in China (2017 Edition) on Friday.
Based on official data, the report offers some insights about the FDI inflows to Chinese mainland by industry and by region, and analyzes the latest development of China’s FDI policies.
Xinhua Silk Road Information Department, the operator of Xinhua Silk Road, said the research would be conducive to better understanding the driving force behind the inflow of foreign direct investment to China, as well as following the trend and foreseeing the outlook for foreign investment in China.
The Xinhua Silk Road information platform was officially launched in July 2015. The platform currently provides products and services covering a Chinese-English bilingual database, a Chinese-English bilingual web portal, research, consulting and think-tank services.
