BEIJING, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua Silk Road, a national information service platform focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative, launched an updated English website (www.xhsilkroad.com or http://en.silkroad.news.cn) on Tuesday.
Compared to the previous version, the updated website adds columns including Belt & Road economic data, China Company, China Brand, China Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and China Think-tanks to show new progress and new achievements of China's participation in the Belt and Road construction in an all-round manner.
Through the updated website, visitors can experience the “Chinese Companies Inquiry System” developed by Xinhua Silk Road for free. The system covers basic information of more than 80 million Chinese enterprises, such as registered capital, corporate representative, shareholders, date of establishment, branches and investment conditions, etc.
Industry insiders note that the system takes the lead on a global scale by language service capacity and data volume of the Chinese enterprises.
To get more in-depth Belt and Road information, through the English website, visitors can also log into the Xinhua Silk Road Database which offers Belt and Road news, research reports, economic data, financial data of Chinese companies, legal data, etc. At present, the one-day free trial service of accessing the Database is available for the visitors.
Heads of Xinhua Silk Road Information Department said while focusing on services of making foreign investment's "coming in" more convenient, the updated English website will combine the online and offline services and roll out offline services including English live stream of conferences and overseas business investigations to help more Chinese enterprises "go global".
Since the Xinhua Silk Road information platform was released in July 2015, Xinhua Silk Road has already built a product and service system covering the databases and websites in Chinese and English, counseling and think tank, matchmaking trading. it provides clients with one-stop services in due diligence, matchmaking trading, branding, credit investigation, and media monitoring.
