BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) has recently signed the Ain-Sokhna zero fuel oil refinery project with Sokhna Refinery & Petrochemicals Company.
Located in Sokhna, Egypt, the project, with refining capacity of 155,000 barrels per day in the first phase, will improve Egypt’s industrial structure and improve its oil refining capacity, besides boosting foreign exchange after its completion. The project is the largest overseas petroleum refining EPC project undertaken by PowerChina. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
