BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Land Transport Authority of Singapore has recently awarded the contract of Circle Line 6 Prince Edward Station and its associated tunnels to China Railway Tunnel Group(CTG), with a total value of more than 310 million Singapore dollars (about 1.5 billion yuan), according to the People's Daily quoted local media in Singapore.
The project is expected to start from the end of 2017 and be completed in 2025. It is noteworthy that CTG has just completed a tunnel for Havelock Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and is constructing another tunnel for the Stevens Station. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
