BEIJING, Sept.8 (Xinhua)-- Jiangxi Thermal Power Construction Corporation and Shanghai Electric Power T&D Group signed a civil construction contract for the Ethiopian BDWC-1/LOT3A Substation Project in Nanchang, capital city of east China's Jiangxi province.
The 400KV substation is the first high-voltage power T&D construction project of Jiangxi Thermal Power Construction Corporation contracted overseas.
Located in the Combolcha Industrial Park, Amhara, a northern state of Ethiopia, the project is expected to start contruction in October and will be completed in eight months. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
