BEIJING, Aug.16 (Xinhua)-- Sinohydro Bureau 16 Co., Ltd. won the bid for the construction of one section of E60 Highway Project in Georgia.
The project was invested by European lnvestment Bank(EIB), and valued at 133 million lari (about 48.95 million U.S. dollars) , which was scheduled to be completed in 24 months.
The section of the E60 Highway Project has a total length of 5.8 kilometers, which will be one of the key sections of the Eurasian transport corridor connecting Europe and Asia.
It is the eighth project that Sinohydro has won in the Black Sea-rim regions. It is an important achievement showing the company’s determination to seize the opportunities brought forward by the Belt and Road Initiative. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
