BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Asia's largest life insurer AIA Group yesterday launched a health management mobile application on China’s mainland to enhance disease prevention and offer incentives for policy holders.
The move marks the mainland becomes the eighth market that incorporates health management into insurance services. The application tracks clients’ daily activity, and offers cash-back for achievements of the users.
John Cai, CEO of AIA China, said the company invested a “considerable amount of money” into building the platform, and is part of the company’s five-year strategy to improve client experience. Cai said the company plans to extend cooperation with physical examination and bio-technology firms to enhance health management.
AIA China will also promote the application in sales of group insurance policies to strengthen health awareness among colleagues, according to Cai. AIA yesterday also announced David Beckham as global ambassador of the group. (Shanghai Daily)
