BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Kenbo 600, was launched in the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Jan.18, reported the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News.
The SUV, produced by BAIC Motor Corp., is the first Chinese passenger vehicle to be sold into the Republic of Korea.
The Kenbo 600 will be available initially in two versions with a starting price of 19.99 million won (about 17,000 U.S. dollars) for the Kenbo 600 Modern and 20.99 million won (about 18,000 U.S. dollars) for the luxury model.
China-Korea Motor, the local importer and distributor of the Chinese vehicle, noted that the local importer of Chinese vehicle has began to accept pre-orders and the first batch of vehicles will be delivered at the beginning of next month.
