LIMA, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Bank of China (BOC) on Dec. 19 opened its Peru representative office in Lima, which is the bank’s fourth branch in Latin America.
The establishment of the Peru office means BOC’s overseas service network would cover 48 countries and regions worldwide, said Wang Xiquan, chief supervisor of the BOC at the opening ceremony.
BOC would work with overseas institutions and financial peers in Peru to provide information consulting, client matching and business promotion services to companies of both countries, said Wang, adding that BOC would act as a bridge for facilitating Peru companies to go to China while assisting Chinese companies to invest in Peru.
