ZHUHAI, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese and Ukrainian enterprises are expected to jointly develop aero-engine products, according to an insider attending the 11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition on October 31.
Beijing Skyrizon Aviation Industry Investment Co. and its subsidiary Chongqing Skyrizon Aviation Power Co. will work with MotorSich, an aero-engine manufacturer in Ukraine, to jointly produce aviation power products.
The two sides have reached an-around strategic relationship in 2015 and been constructing a state-level aviation power industry base in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area since the end of the year.
Insiders noted that the cooperation between the two will not only boost the sustainable development of China's aero-engine industry, but also help provide more competitive products for domestic and international market. (Edited by Zhang Yuan, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
