BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) - China Information Technology Industry Federation (CITIF) and Ping An Bank (000001.SZ) have signed an agreement to cooperate in establishing a 200 billion yuan fundand a service platform for electronic informationindustry.
Zhou Zixue, vice head of the CITIF, said their cooperation was mainly taken to build a convenient and highly efficient financing platform for related enterprises to boost sector development.
According to Zhou, the fund would be dedicated to support such basic and key sectors as core basic components, advanced basic techniques, core electronic materials, new generation of communication equipment and systems, intelligent manufacturing, and smart cities.
Shao Ping, president of Ping An Bank said they were committed to providing full-scale financial services and strategy supports for businesses engaged in electronic information industry.
In next step, CITIF and Ping An Bank would start their cooperation from industry strategy researches, information releasing, special survey, key project investment, key enterprises cultivation and international cooperation. (Edited by Duan Jing, duanjing@xinhua.org)
