BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Profits of the mining industry in China plunged 57 percent year on year in the first eight months of the year, showing a difficult situation for the sector, according to the ongoing China Mining 2015.
Since 2012, profits of the domestic mining industry have showed a downward trend. In 2013, the profits went down 17 percent year on year, while the figure continued to fall in 2014 with a decline of 13 percent year on year.
