BEIJING, August 15 (Xinhua) -- China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has recently won the bid for a rural highway construction project RWC480 in Kenya.
Located in Kwale, adjacent to the Mombasa Highway Project, this project involves upgrading and reconstruction of a 70km-long highway in the area. It is funded by the local government and managed by Kenyan Rural Highway Bureau.
From the beginning of this year, the Kenyan branch of CCECC has been actively adjusting its market development strategy along the lines of its “1+N” business strategy. The success in securing the new project is reflective of the CCECC Kenyan branch’s new strategy, which marks a new starting point for the company as well. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
