BEIJING, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Sinohydro Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. recently won the bid for a foundation expansion project of a sewage treatment plant in Malaysia, with a contract period of 11 months.
The project will expand and upgrade a sewage treatment plant located 15 kilometers away from Negeri Sembilan’s capital Seremban city. A new sewage treatment equipment with similar structure as the existing one will be built and treatment capacity of the plant will be increased 50 percent.
The project mainly includes building an oxidation pond, a clarifying tank, a sludge pumping room and installation of some pipes, as well as building other facilities such as some roads and walls.
