BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) - On Jan. 1, main transformer of the turbo generator for Haveli power project, an EPC project of Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina), was put in place.
The project, located in Pakistan’s populous Punjap province, is a RLNG combined-cycle gas turbine power plant, with total installed generating capacity at 1230 MW and annual electricity output to exceed 10 billion kWh.
Media reports showed PowerChina inked the project’s EPC contract valued about 589 million U.S. dollars with National Power Parks Management Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. Oct. 13, 2015.
SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCOIII) and Sinohydro Co., Ltd., two affiliates of PowerChina, won the bid for the project as a whole and SEPCOIII was responsible for execution of the project’s EPC contract.
Construction period of the Haveli power plant is 27 months and as the contract provides, its construction began on Oct. 13, 2015. Enditem
