China Road and Bridge Corporation’s (CRBC) Rwanda Office and Rwanda Transport Development Agency inked in early December contracts for Kayonza-Rusumo Road reconstruction and expansion project in Rwanda in central and eastern Africa.
This project is the third section of Kagitumba - Rusumo (208 kilometers) Road reconstruction and expansion project, the first project CRBC had won when it entered the market of Rwanda in 1974.
After 42 years, CRBC won meaningfully this project again after the government of Rwanda decided to expand the road for economic reasons.
