BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCOIII), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina), has inked a joint-development agreement (JDA) with H&WB of the Philippines on a JPCPP power project.
Located in Luzon, the Philippines, the project is designed to have an installed capacity of 700 MW, according to information from PowerChina.
So far, the project has completed the work on grid impact report and land acquisition, and is now applying for the ECC environmental permission and grid access permission.
The JDA has secured a controlling stake and EPC contract for SEPCOIII, according to which the company will take part in the project development work including negotiations for power supply agreement, electricity sales agreement as well as long-term coal supply agreement.
