Steel structure installed for thermal power project by Chinese company in Malaysia

Abstract : Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd. of China announced recently it completed the installation of the first layer of main steel structure for the central control building (CCB) of a thermal power plant project in Malaysia on Dec 5.

BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd. of China announced recently it completed the installation of the first layer of main steel structure for the central control building (CCB) of a thermal power plant project in Malaysia on Dec 5.

The main steel structure is 60 meters long, 33 meters wide and 24 meters high, with a total weight of 1,237 tonnes.

The thermal power plant project starts construction in March this year. Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Power Construction Corporation of China. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
