BEIJING, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) announced recently that it has signed an agreement with Wuta Energy Limited to construct a 180MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Beyin, Ghana.
According to the company, the contract value amounts to 230 million U.S. dollars and the construction period of the project will last for approximately 32 months.
Besides, the company has signed a 198-million-U.S. dollar Equipment-Procurement -Construction (EPC) contract with Southfield Petroleum Limited to build a gas processing facility in Nigeria. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yang yifan@xinhua.org)
