QINGDAO, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Qingdao city of east China’s Shandong province on Monday initiated constructing an intelligent manufacturing expert think tank in the roles of consultation, policy research, social service and international exchanges to advance the intelligent manufacturing industry development in Shandong.
The think tank would bring in about 30 authoritative and influential experts globally in fields such as intelligent manufacturing and robot technology in three years, according to a source with the Qingdao national new and high-tech industrial development zone.
Qingdao national new and high-tech industrial development zone has been focusing on robotics and high-end equipment manufacturing since 2013.
